FAQ

Why choose Bali Image Photography?

With extensive experience photographing couples, families, solo travellers, proposals, and special celebrations across Bali, we know how to recommend the best locations, the ideal time of day, and the most flattering light for every session. Our goal is to create natural, timeless images that beautifully capture your Bali experience.

What are the best photoshoot locations in Bali?

Bali offers an incredible variety of photography locations, each with its own unique atmosphere. Some of the most popular places include Ubud’s rice terraces, Jimbaran Beach, Nusa Dua, Sanur, Canggu, Uluwatu cliffs, Sidemen, mountain lakes in Bedugul, waterfalls, and luxury resorts. The best location depends on your preferred style, travel itinerary, and the type of photos you’d like to create.

What is the best time for a photoshoot in Bali?

The best time depends on the location:

  • Sunrise (6:00–8:00 AM): Beaches, waterfalls, lakes, and rice terraces.
  • Morning (8:00–10:00 AM): Ubud and jungle locations.
  • Sunset (4:30–6:30 PM): Jimbaran, Seminyak, Canggu, Uluwatu, and Nusa Dua.

Our team will suggest the ideal timing based on lighting and crowd conditions.

Which Bali locations are less crowded for photography?

If you prefer a quieter experience, consider Sidemen, Candidasa, East Bali, mountain lakes, or early morning sessions in Ubud and Sanur. Visiting during sunrise also helps avoid larger crowds.

Can we visit more than one photoshoot location?

Yes. Depending on your session length and the travel distance between locations, we can create an itinerary that includes two or more nearby locations for greater variety.

Are entrance fees or photography permits included?

Most entrance tickets and photography permits are not included in our packages. Some beaches, parks, temples, resorts, and attractions require separate entrance or photography fees, which are paid directly to the venue.

Can we change outfits during the photoshoot?

Yes. Longer sessions usually allow time for one or more outfit changes, depending on your itinerary and chosen locations.

What happens if it rains?

Bali’s tropical weather can change quickly. If heavy rain affects the session, we’ll discuss rescheduling options or recommend an alternative location whenever possible.
